RE: [newbie] What's Mandrake 7.0 like?

Wow,  thanks all for the responses..greatly appreciated.   As suggested by some of you to wait till 7.1 is out that might be a long wait.   One more question though, which is better for a newbie Linux-mandrake powerpack or MacMillan deluxe?  Since both the same in most ways but with the soft copies of books offerred.   Once again thanking you all in advance!   Regards,   Joe
