The settings on how Blackbox behaves are in ~/.blackboxrc The menu is set up in ~/.blackbox/menu Check the manual pages on www.blackbox.org (it will redirect you to the proper page, it has moved) on the exact inner workings of it, there's a lot you can do with it.
