[newbie] Memory problems

First i hope thay you excuse me becouse my english i so bad but i hope that
you understand me message.

I'm newbie in Linux, i'm installed Mandrake 7.1 and it's run perfectly. I've
only one problem, ... now... i think that i'll have more problems...

I've 128Mb of RAM but Linux only recognise 64Mb. I'd like use 128Mb.
I've read that i can append line "mem=128Mb" to a file, but i don't know
wich file.

Can you say me?
