[newbie] kppp and other applications

Hi to all

When kppp has succeeded a login (when I am online), I cannot use disk navigator
or open for example Netscape. Also, the ''Mandrake update" option is not
working. But everything works ok if I am offline.

Same for the browser:  I have to open Netscape before going online.

Is it normal?
