Hi Ana, welcome to the wonderful world of Linux. We need more info. What version of
mandrake, how big a hard drive and did you choose the auto install or custom, expert,
just for starters. The Partition for linux will have to be linux native ext2 or
reiserfs. Did you tell diskdrake to do the auto config?  I know that is a lot of
questions, but the answers will help someone on the list help you.  Linux is  a true
marvel if you have been using windows for a while. It's like going from a biplane to an
F16.  Let's give it a go.
