Dennis,

I have a similar setup as you. A Win2K box 2 Win98 boxen, a laptop and a
L-M 7.2 box. After screwing with the system for several days I ended up
shutting off the DHCP server in the router and set my system up with
hard coded IP addresses in sequence 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.6. I also
found that the Win98 box with a 10/100 (linksys) card would not work
plugged into the router, but would if plugged into my linksys hub. I
also found good luck with the linksys tech support, although, they were
difficult to get on the phone.

Once the system was set up and running it has been fairly easy to run.
the router will occasionally hang and I found that resetting it by
unplugging it momentarily would get it working again. If you need more
help try me on ICQ I spend most of every evening online. (no life,
more's the pity)
