I'm trying to setup scsi emulation in mandrake 7.2...
HOW do I do this...?
I tried the redhat approach...but everytime I reconfigure lilo...
it says theres a syntax error.
this is what I did...
at the end of /etc/rc.local
I put: insmod ide-scsi
then at the end of /etc/lilo.conf
I put: append="hdd=ide-scsi"
this was in a how-to for redhat...
I installed a HP cd-rw 9150i as secondary slave
which in linux is: hdd
harddrake recognised the drive....
