Yes, it works. Thanks a lot! By the way, it looks it
works without having to reboot.

The funny thing is that the scsi emulation was already
seen from the system, at least it was listed in Mandrake
control center -> Hardware -> CDROMS, so I couldn't
suspect a config problem.
