Thanks Colin and All

I found an excellant tutorial and am now up and running Samba
after a mere 40 hrs of frustration. Not bad for a hobby!

Lots of self-inflicted problems, as usual. The problem with such a flexible
system is there is little to protect me from my own ignorance.

At one point I trashed part of smb.conf and spent hrs flopping around.

All great fun.

Hmmmm...........What's next?

ttfn
