hello. is there a gui way to set the PATH variable for all users on the system (or an individual user) besides editing /etc/profile or /home/user/.profile? just wondering if a way exist to set the PATH and other variables like on window's system control panel's environment variables...
also, if one makes changes to the /etc/profile, how can those changes be made to take effect without logging out and back in? thanks.
