hi everyone, i've got a new one. ;o) i've been borrowed a cd-rw, so when i add it to my PC it's recognised OK and i can mount cd's on it, as /dev/hdd . now, ive tried two or three programs for burning cd's with it, and the error message is the same, it looks like it's only used as a read-only device, like a regular cd-rom... besides, gtoaster displays "cannot open scsi driver" i've read some about this, but since i never had a burner, i never really cared... :o/ what exactly do i have to do to make cd-burning work?
