Hi, Rosemary. Do you have samba set up? There may be other ways to do it, but I have the printer defined as a share in samba. Then, on the client machine, it's just a matter of setting it up from MCC > Hardware > Printers.

First, use Configure Cups - just give it the IP of the box with the printer. Then back on the main printer screen, hit the tab for printers configured on other computers. It should pick up the printer there. Print a test page, and you should be done.

Does that mean a special two way cable, or some otherlink?

No I don't have samba set up. I'm very unclear about any knid of networking.
