I see the problem - cdrecord does not support directly burning a track
from one CD to a new CD. You will ether need to use a program like
cdda2wav or cdparanoia to convert the tracks you want to .wav files.

If you are trying to copy an entire CD, then you can use dd to copy the
CD to an image, and burn the image. I usualy use something like:
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/tmp/cd.iso bs=2048

for data CDs. For music CDs, you may want to use:
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/tmp/music.iso
instead...
