I'm assuming you're using a laptop. :-)

I think later versions of Mandriva should automagically configure both
devices.

Sometimes though...

Under v9.2 on my Dell Inspiron for example, I had to put this in
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4:

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "Mouse0"
        Driver "mouse"
        Option "Protocol" "PS/2"
        Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
        Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
        Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes"
EndSection

Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Mouse1"
    Driver "mouse"
    Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
    Option "Device" "/dev/usbmouse"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier "layout1"
    InputDevice "Keyboard1" "CoreKeyboard"
    InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
    InputDevice "Mouse1" "AlwaysCore"
    Screen "screen1"
EndSection

I believe these are the only relevant sections I changed.

                                                                Dark><Lord
                                                                    \/
