Thanks Fajar and Ann, It worked fine. I tried to copying the file to my floppy
but that didn't work. I did manage to copy at least most of it to a CD which is
encluded at the end of this message. The external modem dial on all ports, It
seems to handshake correctly but never logs on.
Quite literally. Open a console as root, then type 'tail
- -f /var/log/messages'.
