Well, I go back a bit farther then that. (CP/M, DOS 3.2, etc. Played
with Deskview, and a fiew other OS.) Did you know that WFW 3.11 can be
configured to work with a Linux system? It has no problems working with
a Samba server as long as you install the TCP/IP protocal. (It works
best if you remove all the other protocals after installing TCP/IP.)
Now, if you want to talk about running a BBS, I helped run a 12 line BBS
under DOS with a pair of 8 port serial cards. (The extra serial ports
connected to a second system running door programs, as MBBS did not do
well with doors. It did have its own games though, and a nice chat
setup.) I do miss playing Mutants and Galactic Empire sometimes.
