Fresh 2007 install. Do not have the ability for CDs and USB devices to
automount. Haldaemon is not running, and I cannot get it to start. There
are no errors in the logs when it fails, which is immediately. Dbus and
udev are both running. Gnome-volume-manager is installed, but I cannot run
it until haldaemon is running. When I insert a CD, it is detected, and a
window pops up asking what I want to do with the CD. I click on "open in
new window", and then I get the error "Feature only available with HAL".
USB devices are not recognized at all when I connect them.
