1) I have connexant driver I had to download for my modem. It was an rpm. It all extracted properly. I can find the driver in the directory with the other drivers. My problem is that the Mandrake GUI won't recognize it and won't allow me to choose other options than what they have. Is there any way to configure the modem manually? Is there any way to get the GUI to recognize it?
2) What are the commands I need to run to update Mandrake? I have reinstalled it and don't know how to do all the downloads. They say the kernel source comes with the downloads and that it is needed. I would appreciate any help. Trent
