Sounds like the sqlite rpm you are trying to install isn't quite compatible with your existing rpms. What I would do is obtain the .src.rpm file and do a "rpmbuild --rebuild sqlite-whatever.src.rpm" Then install that. The new rpm will fit your system. Alternatively you could just compile from tarball. But building an rpm from srpm is clean in my opinion.
