Yeah, I read the original post wrong. urpmi won't let him install it. If he had gotten it installed and it was just complaining about a missing library, then the symlink and 'ldconfig' would fix it. But it won't fix a package dependency problem like this. You could try downloading the SRPM and recompiling it. You might have to hack the .spec file in the process.
