After reading the comments thought I'd make a point about this. The
remaining 28 GB should initially be left to / in my opinion. I only run
a seperate partition for /home on my server. At home it's one giant
partition. Also, if you do decide to go that route later, you can
without hang-ups becuase FC3 uses LVM. On the fly resizing of
partitions.

I found that when I last installed FC3 most of the default settings
worked out pretty well (partition size, bootloader, etc)
