Further information regarding this follows as I realises %memory usage is a bit useless!
Each newpki-server process/thread is using 213196 bytes as reported in the VSZ columun of ps auxf. 213196 x 80 = 17055680 Bytes. By comparison, mysqld has 28 processes/threads, each consuming 67024 Bytes. In the time taken to write this email (approx. 10 minutes), each newpki-server thread now uses 213332 Bytes VSZ:-) Still 80 processes/thread of newpki-server. Looks like there is a memory leak as mentioned by Frederic.
