I am saying that as a long time Subversion fan, having introduced
subversion to multiple teams/projects that used cvs, sourcesafe and
TFS. I used to love subversion. Except merging, I never loved that
aspect, it was horrible up until 1.5, but even after merge tracking
was introduced I still find the merging in Subversion to be a pain.

It is just that after having used git & mercurial I just found their
power and capability so incredibly useful and empowering that working
with Subversion now feels very frustrating. It is like having gone
over to the MVC model of web apps (like MonoRail & ASP.NET MVC) made
working with WebForms 100x more frustrating when you knew things could
be made so much easier.
