A little history first; I bought a brand new '02 NH 750 in Jan '02. I rode the bike for 2-3 years, then passed it along to my son when I moved on to bigger bikes. I'v been thru a Concours, St1100 and currently have a Valkyrie. Nice bike, but not much of a commuter. (anyone want a really big cruiser?) I considered a few bikes for my daily commute (about 80 miles round trip). I found a nice '96 NH 750 and rememberd how I'd like the one I'd had.
So, I have the bike and I've ridden it to work most of this week. Now I'm wondering if I'll be able to keep doing it. The first day or so, I felt like I'd been beaten by the time I got to work. It's been a while since I had a bike with no wind protection. What windshields are people using? I looking at the NC F-15 or F-16. I don't want to go too big. But I've also they have support issues and need extra bracing. The Givi fairings look nice, but I'd rather not spend that much if I may not keep the bike. Anyone here have the Corbin seat? I find I have to push back on the seat, but I slide forward at every stop.
