I went for a twenty mile ride through town yesterday, my 83 650 ran
great. This afternoon I found some gear oil leaking out of the rear
axle on the brake shoe side. The oil has sort of a reddish tint to it.
I changed the oil in the rear gear case last fall just before I took
the 6500 mile road trip. The bike has 32000 miles on it now. I'm
hoping it's just a seal. Any one have advise on changing gear case
seals? Thanks Jay
