If you know how to use snap ring pliers and some patients, you can do the fork seals. I have done mine twice, dealer gave me the wrong seals the first time, and it was not really that hard. The second time it took me 30 minutes to remove repair and re-install. Since you are replacing the brake pads you are already taking the wheel and brake caliper off. Take the extra 20 minutes and replace the seals. Happy wrenching!
