That small engine/carb cleaner is for really small engines - like lawn mowers and chainsaws and line trimmers. Seafoam. It's the best.

I've tried the choke at 1/3 or so and it is keeping the idle high enough (2Gs). I'd rather not play around changing idle either. Starting is getting easier as i figure out how much extra sips of gas it needs at the beginning but I still have the same problem. I'll look for "Seafoam". For now I am going to try running a small engine cleaner/carb cleaner through a couple tanks. Maybe that is the same thing but different brand? Is it easy for a non-mechanic to drain the carb bowls? ps. Weather today WAS beautiful! - makes up for all the rain other times. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
