check the air cleaner. I had a 450 that did exactly the same thing -
the air cleaner (filter) was drenched in oil. I rung it out and that
solved the problem

Okay, we brought our bike home from the dealership. My hubby has
taken the carberator apart and done some other stuff on the bike.
When our son takes it out, it goes fine at 15mph but over 4000rpms
it dies. It continues to do that. Can anyone give a guess as to
what might be causing that. We did have a sticking brake but fixed
that.
