Well aren't you all helpful? Al what these miscreants meant to tell you is that these bikes don't have a fuel pump, they are gravity fed. What your probably looking at is the petcock diaphragm. It's basically an automatic on\off switch for the fuel. They make replacement diaphragms for them, did you try that and it's still not working? If you need a complete new one then the only place you're going to find one is on a parts bike. Google "motorcycle salvage yard" and sift through the listings. You oughta be able to convince them to get it in the mail for a fee.
