Yup, pretty easy on my 650 (shaft-drive) to pull the rear. Center stand,
remove brake linkage, that weird little connecting shaft thing (both about a
10mm nut), then the axle nut and axle (there is a spacer on the axle, so pay
attention to its location). Once that's out, the rear drum assembly will
mostly fall on the ground and the tire can then shimmy out.

Be sure to let all the air out of the tire, or it won't fit out.

Takes 10 minutes to pull once you know what you're doing.

Replacement is the reverse of removal. Brake linkage can be adjusted by
hand. Just make the two arrows line up. Again, put the tire on the bike with
no air or it won't fit.
