Thanks for the info everyone. I am grabbing the bike tonight. I saw an ad for a mobile mechanic, and have asked for a quote for an inspection. >From their Facebook site: "Special: For $55 you get the following: Oil and filter change (excluding synthetic motor oil). Fuel additive treatment Free Rising Sun T-Shirt And… a 20 point inspection/diagnosis including the following: Test battery Test starter Check all fuses and electrical connections Check all lights and signals Inspect fuel tank for debris/rust Check charging system - stator/regulator rec Check spark plugs (excluding some models) Adjust tire pressure Check and blow out air filter Check brakes Check brake fluid Check steering head bearings Check swingarm & wheel bearings Check front and rear tires Check fork seals Check rear suspension Check/adjust all cables Lubricated all cables and pivot points Lubricate drive chain Adjust drive chain and align rear tire"
As for the battery, I see a few options, the pricier side is the Lithium battery for $160US, or a generic one for $90. Is it worth it? http://www.shoraipower.com/s-173951-CB750SC-Nighthawk.aspx Thanks!
