I sold mine to my brother for $2000 it had 22K on it, but it was beautiful and in an excellent state of maintenance. It had a new clutch, chain/sprockets, tires, brakes, stainless brake lines, progressive fork springs, uni filter, jet kit, heated grips, and a Hondaline rack/backrest. It was ready to ride to the inspection station. The only dings were: the tach didn't work, and a little fading of the paint on the fender. If I had sold it to a stranger I wouldn't have taken less than $2500. I think that around here (DC area) you are hard pressed to get a bike for less than $2000 that is in inspectable condition, and if you do pay less it will probably cost that much to get it that way.
