The 450 Nighthawks are pretty much the same throughout the production
run - the biggest difference I can think of off hand is the wheels - I
think they changed them in 1983 or 1984 - even that is something that
could be easily swapped.
There were paint color differences between the years, but
mechanically they were basically the same from start to finish.
The paint - Black or Blue was unique to 1982 - in that the
striping and decals were not repeated in 1983 onward.
