When I first start my bike in the spring I have to get the choke set right to keep it running. It sounds like that. The only way it could be the clutch is if you put it into gear and that causes it somehow to conk. But beyond that, seems to be a leak in the carb, the carbs the fuel line or pump.

I just went to start up the bike and it turned over but if I don't keep my hand on the throttle the bike just give out. I was told that the bike needs a new clutch. I was able to pick up a complete set and in the process this weekend putting it in. Is this in fact the issue? > > Sent from my iPhone > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group. > To post to this group, send email to nighthawk_lovers@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to nighthawk_lovers+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/nighthawk_lovers?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
