With me at 280 pounds plus 130 of gilfriend and 30 pounds of gear on the 99
cb250 i would run 3/4 of my 45 mile each way commute at 100 percent throttle
(65-70 mph after upping the rear sprocket size) and getting 50ish mpg. Worst i
got on it was 35 and best was 75. Now i weigh more (and so does the gf) same
gear on the goldwing and i get 45 mpg on the same runs

My 750 IS my current daily, and typically turns in 42-44. I'm hoping going
slightly smaller will be better, and I haven't ruled out a 250 for my 12
miles one-way commute.
