Anyone have a good video or something showing how to bleed from a banjo
bolt? I've never done it and am having trouble finding an example. I do see
people repeating Allen's warning to not let the handle go all the way
down... could someone explain why? How far down should I let it go?

On some advice, put my bike on the center stand and put a friend on the
back so the front wheel was free. I pumped the brake a few times, released
it, and tried to spin the wheel. (Would not spin free at all, stopped dead
as soon as I let go of it.) Then I cracked the bleeder at the caliper
(allowing a little brake fluid to dribble out), closed the bleeder, and
tried to spin the wheel again. The idea was that if the wheel spun freely
after releasing that pressure from the bleeder, the problem was likely in
my MC. If the wheel still refused to turn, my brake caliper pistons must
still be seized. Well, the brakes were still dragging, so the drag must be
caused by at least my caliper (could still be my MC in addition). Time to
bite the bullet, pop the pistons all the way out, and clean it like I mean
it. Probably have to get a rebuild kit since I doubt the seals will survive
the ordeal. Does all that seem reasonable so far?

One more thought... I had plenty of hydraulic pressure before I tried to
clean the caliper. I was using the system to push the pistons out a bit,
trying to expose all the grime without actually removing them 100%.
Suddenly I didn't have any more pressure, and my assumption is that I let
the brake fluid level get too low as the pistons came forward and pumped
air into my system. Buuuut after all my bleeding attempts and then this
shop's attempt with the vacuum tool, I *still* don't have any pressure.
Could I have screwed something up at the caliper while I was cleaning it
and I'm getting air in that way? There is no brake fluid leaking and
everything seems to be in order... Or did I just get unlucky and have my MC
fail at the same time as my caliper problem? Ooooor is there still air in
the system despite our Herculean (more like Sisyphean) efforts? Would
bleeding from the banjo bolt get air out that all of these other methods
cannot?

Thanks so much for all your help. I just wanna be moving again, but I have
to be able to stop first. :/
