Ahh yea, unless your HD friends have been riding for a really long time
(have ridden smaller Japanese bikes), then they probably wouldn't be able
to tell, since they would most likely be overwhelmed by how light the bike
is in comparison.

>From the factory the triple clamps should be all the way to the top of the
fork so you probably can't go any more there (unless you mounted them lower
when you did the head bearings). The 650 is a nimble bike from the get go
and if you have superbike bars it is touchy in the steering, or at least
Jason's 85 that he keeps over my house is that way. If you can let go of
the bars while in a turn and it doesn't fall in or pull out, then rather
than mess up the bikes balance by different suspension settings, I'd just
learn to be easy on the controls, and keep the nimble balanced bike.
