+1 Same here you need a drastic change in exhaust to notice anything more
than an increase in noise. Tho only bike to have ever messed with where the
exhaust chànge had a noticeable change in performance was my friend's CBR.
On that bike he replaced basically a cut in half cherry bomb muffler with a
proper slip on Yoshi muffler. He definitely lost some top end, and gained
some midrange and general rideability.
