wow!!! thanks for for immediate reply. So my description is correct.... color does not matter. These two spikes ( I only need one) go from the inside of the side covers and attach of the grommet at the bike frame. They are made of plastic with a grove to squeeze into the grommet. Maybe an inch and a half in length/ half inch wide.
