As far as I know, there is only one version of the 3047 head.

It has three handles which are rotated to lock/unlock each axis, two levels
to level the head on uneven terrain, and a hexagonal-shaped quick release
plate. I suggest that, if you can afford it, you buy one plate for each of
your cameras. It makes changing cameras on the tripod much faster and easier.
