Hi all,

I bought a Sto-fen Omni Bounce for my SB-26/F70 over Christmas.
I'd heard very good things about it on the digest and was
expecting very nice results from using it.

However, I can see no real difference between using it and not
using it. There are still quite strong (almost black) shadows
and peoples faces tend to get overexposed if they don't occupy
a large part of the frame.

Prior to getting the Omni Bounce, I simply bounced the SB-26
off the ceiling, and find the results much more pleasing and
natural than using the Omni Bounce -- you'd hardly know a flash
was used.

I have, as per the instruction manual's recommendation, used
the Omni Bounce at a 45 degree angle of bounce.

Am I using it correctly or is this just over-rated, or where
does it shine over not having one?

Bye,
Mike
