Dear Digest-readers, Thanks for the many good advice you gave me, regarding bying a new Nikon for shooting people interactions, children, etc with the option of using fill- flash. I listed my requirements as follows: I do not need 117 fancy exposure programs, but I do need the following: Autofocus, compatibility with Series E lenses (I can't affort to upgrade all my leses at once), manual override of everything(!), build-in flash, flah sync 1/250 (as the FE2) or better, spotmetering, exposure compensation, plus of course the usual roughness that makes the Nikon a perfect blunt weapon. My reasons for wanting pop-up flash was 1) To always have the flash ready 2) Avoid extra weight 3) A mounted flash makes the camera clumsy and harder to handle. Now, I really like the features of the F90 and the F4, and would prefer one of these to the F70, but alas, I will have to hire somebody to carry camera+equipment for me :-) Maybe I should just buy a decent P&S camera and use my FE2 for more "serious" work? How do you manage to have your flash ready for those candid shots (both in- and outdoors) without breaking your spine? Having said this: Why should I buy a F90/F4 instead of a P&S to supplement my FE2? Thomas
