This is the third time that I admit I was insulting, rude and out of line. In my own journalistic way but remember if I was that good in english as I am in my mother's language I would have proven my point a long time ago. You can bet I would. And your jaws would fall down to your knees. Again, I'm sorry for all of those digesters who were offended by my writing. I'm really sorry for all my german speaking friends, photographers and nikon digesters because they're also receiving hostile e-mail messages. Mostly from americans which is even more weired. Boris is an example. Nontheless, Nikon digest is internationally acclaimed newsletter and therefore open to everybody and it's still a mystery to me how come americans are the only people here who feel threatned by someone living outside the USA. Again, I have absolutely nothing agaist americans (against nobody in the world to be more precise) but your way of forcing everybody to think that the american way is the only way to go is a little bit exaggerated. I don't claim you do that on purpose but I can see the majority was raised to belive that nothing in the whole wide world happens without the interference of the USA. That point of view my fellow americans is wrong. Again, I'm sorry all of you who have to read this non-photography related discusions but I just had to say this. Let's talk Nikon here and I'm willing to explain & debate other issues in a more appropriate place if you don't mind. I'm a very occupated and busy person (my work doesn't allow me to chat for hours and hours) but I'll find the and take my time to finish what I started here. ANYWHERE, ANYTIME YOU LIKE AS LONG AS IT'S NOT NIKON DIGEST!!! Boris, You may have a good point there. I only hope people are reading this For the spellchecker (my english) part: As much as some of you may hate Microsoft and Bill gates for his monopol or whatever I must say that MS is the only software company in the world untill now who bothered to translate the majority of MS programs into my mother's language. Not only it's more comfortable for me to use but MS also gained slovenian users who otherwise wouldn't touch computers because they wouldn't understand a word in english. They translated MS Word and Excell, for example, for a country with 2 million population. Around 100.000 people use their translated software on a regular daily basis. A drop in an ocen for MS and a lot for us. So, by now you shopuld have known that we use slovenian spellchecker so whatever I write I do it by heart. I wish Mr. Owen P. Evans was a bit more open minded. Or a bit less narrow minded if you like. I guess [EMAIL PROTECTED] answered to everybody. "I really don't understand the problem with his message. Is he insulting anyone's intelligence by suggesting most people don't know where Slovenia is? I don't know where it is - do you? But I do remember an American who wrote to the digest a couple of months ago saying "Here in the United States America we have something called freedom of expression." Now that is insulting! Funny, I don't remember you writing to complain about that, though" etc. Now that I can see most of you know where Slovenia was (I'm sorry for insulting your geographical knowledge) I'd like to invite you to check our web site. Maybe than you'll learn a little more about us and stop looking for a vacation on the ther side of the earth. I don't know an unsatisfied person for visiting ma homeland on the sunny side of the Alps. Hope this helps. www.slowwwenia.com and www.ijs.si/slo/ Enjoy your visit!
