Try the following:
1. Have the Adaptec driver ready (The one that comes with the scanner,
or download one from http://www.adaptec.com for your Adaptec 2902E).
2. Open the device manager, select the Adapter with the exclamation
mark in yellow circle, and push the remove button to remove the default
Windows95 driver.
3. Reboot Windows.
4. Upon restart, Windows will redetect it, but this time, it should
look for Adaptec driver that comes with the scanner, or the one that
downloaded from http://www.adaptec.com
5. Open the device manager to check the status of Adaptec 2902E. It
should be working properly by now.
If it still doesn't work, the device is using the resources that already
been used by other devices (Interrupt Conflict, I/O port conflict, DMA
conflict, etc). Contact me privately for further advice.
