Dear Mike, you wrote: I too wished for all the features in an updated F3 (spot meter, 1/250 TTL sync, a hot shoe) . Then I realized that the F4(w/mb-20) has it all. Its really like an F3 body if you look at it, and with the smaller battery pack it doesnt weigh much more than my F3hp. Yes, you are quite right. But there is a very important difference between the two cameras: A F3 you still can buy new from your dealer, the F4 you canīt! Thatīs really a pitty for those of us who donīt like buy used equipment because of the risk of getting a real "shelf warmer". So the day when the F4 disappeared from my dealerīs shop I really was in mourning.
