There are five conductors plus shield in the SC-17 cable: red, blue, white, yellow and bare copper. The bare conductor is a shield drain. Use a mini-DIN or audio connector. (The latter can be color-coded; convenient in multiple-flash setups.) A five-pin connector is best, but a four-pin will do. If using a four-pin, solder both shield and drain to the plug shell. The conductors are very fine, about 24-26 AWG, so be careful stripping and soldering. Jim [EMAIL PROTECTED]
