        Deric, yes I still use a blend of MF and AF lenses between my
        FE2 and N90.  So, ADR would be quite useful for me (though you
        do correctly point out it's uselessness in the near-dark).

        The thing is this: Nikon still produces some great lenses -- and
        arguably "pro" lenses -- in MF *only* !  In particular, the 35/1.4, 
        28/2.0, 24/2.0, 15/3.5, 200/2.0, 400/3.5, 400/5.6 .... 

        The F5 continues to have ADR, presumably because Nikon realizes that 
        pros need to use these MF lenses that Nikon hasn't "upgraded" yet.  
        I would have hoped they did the same thing w/ the F100, but alas.
