Until they do, when I'm in a rush I set the 'Landscape' mode and focus lock
on something I guess to be 1/3 of the overall distance from the camera. It
seems to work pretty well.
Clever idea but I would think it would be a feature that would
automatically disable itself after each use. Personally, I'd prefer an
affordable depth-of-field button instead.
