Those metal trunks that come with long Nikon telephotos sure look
nice but aren't very practical. Yes, they have huge Nikon logos on
them.

However, the 300mm/f2.8 AF-S doesn't come with a metal trunk.
Instead, it comes in a black leather case similar to those come
with the 300mm/f4 and 80-200/2.8 zoom. Again, the LowePro
Street and Field lens case #5 fits the 300 AF-S very well.
