Part of the problem may be from using Word 98. I had problems with Word 98, too. Upgrade to the most recent version of Word (J or E) and they should never know the difference. You can (read: I have) even simply copy the entire document from Nisus and paste it into Word (bypassing MacLink), save, and go. You then have a native Word document with essentially never using Word, and the client should be none the wiser.
